AATREC(tm) Expedition Mobiles
Finally, there's a turn-key cab-forward 4x4 mobile shelter available in the USA that's geared toward people who love the outdoors: A vehicle perfectly suited to hunters and fishermen, nature lovers, photographers, astronomers, artists, ranchers, adventurers, researchers and anyone else just looking to escape crowded cities and packed campgrounds.
AATREC(TM) is an acronym for Advanced All Terrain Recreational Exploration Camper. In short, AATREC-FG is a marine-quality four wheel drive Class C motor-home, conceived, designed, and proudly custom-built in the harsh environs of Wyoming, USA. AATREC RVs are constructed to withstand tough weather and rough roads, yet are quite comfortable at highway speed on pavement as well. With plenty of fuel, water, and multiple on-board power sources, AATREC vehicles are capable of extended stays in primitive locations.

Please explore the buttons below! You will learn all about the 4x4 AATREC-FG, from design philosophy, specifications, and standard equipment to construction techniques and optional equipment - all of which add up to making AATREC-FG a top-quality, unique truck-based camper that's like nothing available before in the United States!
If the FG platform isn't large enough, we'll soon (starting late 2006) be offering a custom Class 6 Fuso FM260 truck, with a 26,000 lb. GVWR/GCWR. Part-time 4WD of course, our proprietary FM platform will include a standard Allison 2400 5-speed automatic, 243 hp / 516 lb-ft common rail four-valve turbo/intercooled inline six, a two speed air-shifted transfer case, and air-over-hydraulic disc brakes all around. The chassis will also offer properly engineered single rear wheels and ride on Michelin XDE M/S tires, sized 12R22.5. Front axle capacity is 12,000 lbs, with rear axle capacity at 18,000 lbs. The wet curb weight of the chassis and equipped camper will be around 18,000 lbs, leaving 8,000 lbs of capacity remaining for additional chassis equipment and towing. A driver controlled rear differential lock will be optional, and the chassis' drivetrain is exceptionally overbuilt for use off-highway. (The rear diff, for example, is rated for 60,000 lbs of GCWR!)
Custom applications are our specialty. We can accommodate various needs from Homeland Security and Search and Rescue commands, communications centers, environmental testing, and medical applications to severe-duty off-highway vehicles for catering, aircraft fueling, well, pipeline, and equipment service and refueling, etc. Please Contact us with your questions and requirements!
