AATREC(tm)
Design
Concepts
All AATREC(tm) Expedition Mobiles from Renaissance Universal Fabrication, Inc. are built to the
highest standards. They employ the following design features and concepts,
many of which clearly separate them from the standard cookie-cutter RV industry.
Some main features include:
Cab-forward chassis, for a tight turning radius and excellent visibility
Four wheel drive, for increased control on bad surfaces, in inclement weather, or when traveling to off-road locations
Intercooled common-rail turbo-diesel engine, for reliability and efficient operation
Torsion-free rubber-isolated mounting of the cabin to the chassis, allowing greater flexibility of the chassis off-road while preventing flex from being transferred to the shelter
Complete camper autonomy from the chassis when required, enabling the fully functional shelter to be removed and operated independently from the chassis while the chassis is used for other purposes
Ability to operate in extreme temperature conditions, with fully insulated construction, above-floor fresh water holding tanks, dual-pane windows, and multiple heat sources
Large deep-cycle gel-cell battery banks with supplemental photovoltaic charging, to provide extended autonomous operation far from utilities
Energy-efficient lighting and appliances, to increase periods of autonomy
Marine-grade electrical systems, to withstand the rigors of on and off-road travel
Common hydronic circuit between chassis and cabin, allowing shelter to preheat engine, and engine to heat shelter
Shelter construction and installation in complete compliance with chassis manufacturer
Construction meets or exceeds current ANSI A119.2 safety guidelines for recreational vehicles |
This unique design philosophy allows AATREC(TM) vehicles to take their owners to locations far from civilization, yet keep them in complete comfort and safety while traveling and camping.
