Introduction to AATREC(tm)-FG

Dubbed "The Dual-Sport RV," AATREC(tm)-FG it is equally happy on Interstate Highways and remote back roads of gravel or dirt. The vehicle will provide the owner with comfortable, efficient travel and keep him safe and cozy in conditions where other standard RVs would fail. AATREC is built for camping in primitive areas with no utilities, has ample sources of energy, and many redundant systems.

The design includes almost 16 ft of interior box length, for a 44% increase in interior volume over RUF's Unimog-based expedition camper. The new four wheel drive truck will run 68 mph maximum, powered by a turbocharged, intercooled direct injection diesel engine producing 147 HP and 347 lbs.-ft of torque. The cab itself is easy to lift when required, providing superb access to the engine. To raise the cab, the rubber boot is de-coupled and a few communcations and data lines disconnected...

Service is easy, with most fluids checked from inside the cab. Power windows and door locks are standard, with options including air conditioning, CD-radio and heated mirrors for cold, icy weather. With the optional auxiliary fuel tank, AATREC has a range between fueling of over 800 miles.
