RUF, Inc. has on consignment one 1980 Expedition Unimog. This vehicle is unsurpassed in off-road ability and has a German-rebuilt 168 hp Mercedes OM352A turbo-diesel with only 5,000 km on the clock. The vehicle features a custom high roof full of communications gear and gauges, and the cab is virtually rust-free and painted with fresh PPG urethane.

This is the LAST of the highly desirable 2007 FM260 chassis. The frame is much stronger than the new FK260, and there is NO ULSD requirement, as it is built (by Fuso) with a 2006 model year 6M60 engine. Fuel it in ANY country with clean diesel fuel!!! There is no catalyst or thermal reactor or urea injection. The exhaust consists (legally) of a brake valve and muffler. Those days are LONG GONE NOW!

Also, note that this is the last AATREC model available with massive the Bosch 4-wheel ABS disc brakes! These brakes are easy to service, and provide awesome stopping power.

This vehicle is a fully-tested low-mileage (<10,000 miles) demo unit, with factory Fuso warranty good through July, 2014.
