Torque Free Subframe

AATREC(tm) cabins ride atop the RUF Torsion Free Subframe (TFS). The TFS provides three main functions:
Elimination of Torsional Interference between the chassis and camper cabin. When driving off road on uneven terrain, chassis articulation is not transmitted into the cabin where it can weaken the structure, or cause damage to cabinets and other interior components. Also, the chassis itself is allowed to flex more, thus keeping the tires on the ground more often, for better traction
Rubber Isolation between Camper and Chassis. The static and dynamic portions of the TFS are attached together via heavy duty rubber isolating bushings. These minimize chassis and road vibrations entering the cabin.
Quick-Detach Platform. The TFS is constructed so that the AATREC cabin can be easily removed, allowing other bodies to be installed quickly and efficiently.
